2020 - 2023 “Central Asian Law: Legal Cultures and Business Environments in Central Asia” is a 4-year research and training project funded by the European Commission’s H2020 MSCA-RISE programme (project number 870647), which runs from 01/03/2020 through 28/02/2024.
The project aims to produce new knowledge and policy insights on the interlinkages between legal cultures, governance and business environment in Central Asia. The project is implemented by 14 institutions in 11 countries in Europe and Central Asia. https://www.centralasianlaw.lu.se/home

2023 - 2026 “MOCCA: Multilevel Orders of Corruption in Central Asia” is a 4-year research and training project funded by the European Commission’s HORIZON-MSCA-2021-SE-01-01 - MSCA Staff Exchanges 2021 programme
The MOCCA is a research and staff exchange programme that intends to contribute to the global and national efforts of understanding and counteracting corruption by conducting interdisciplinary research on the multilevel orders of corruption in five countries in post-Soviet Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan).

2021 - 2022 US Embassy Small Grant
Mahalla English Youth Center With the support of this grant The University was able to open and run a Mahalla English Youth Centre in one of the Mahallas attached to the University. The Mahalla English Youth Center (MEYC) project aim was to promote English language learning and strengthen connections between community members in mahallas.

2021 USAID Expert
Organized and delivered the training of the teachers of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (Tashkent) on how to use case scenarios and judicial decisions in teaching law. In particular, the training included the aspects on how to read and summarize judicial decisions, how to write a case scenario and how to teach the students to resolve these scenarios using IRAC and similar methods.
