Dr Aurora Voiculescu is a Socio-Legal Studies and Human Rights scholar in Westminster Law School, University of Westminster. She is the Chair of the Research Ethics Committee for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Previously, Aurora was an Associate Research Fellow at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, University of Oxford (2000-2012) and held a British Academy Post-doctoral Fellowship in Law, at Lincoln College, Oxford University (1999-2003). She also held a Visiting Professorship in International and Comparative Law at the Institute for European Studies, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (2011-2014).

Aurora has a PhD in Law from London School of Economics and Social Sciences, law degrees from the University of Bucharest (LLB and LLM) and also studied sociology and politics at Central European University, in Prague. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2008.
