GOALS

• To make library spaces more friendly, dynamic and appealing
• To motivate project participants to create innovative and “out of box” designs
• Recognition and acknowledgment of talented participants
• To provide students with ownership of LRC spaces

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

For students:

• 3 winning project owners will receive AR (Achievement Record) certificates  each and gift certificates (from vpodarok.uz)
• 5 more incentive prizes will be awarded to other participants
• Winner projects will be acknowledged and exhibited

For LRC:

• Enhancing LRC spaces
• Engagement of LRC staff with project participants  

The contest consists of 4 steps:

1. A proposal (concept paper) submission preferably with a photo of the project

 (12- 21 February).

1. Shortlisting of the proposals  by LRC awarding committee ( 22 February)
2. Implementation ( 23 February – 11 March)
3. Online vote with Google forms  (13-15 March)
4. The announcement of the winner projects (16 March)

Feasible LRC spaces for design:

1. Silent Area (IB 1st floor)
2. Main Area (Discussion Area) 2nd and 3rd floor
3. Entrance (LRC Building)
4. Sky Bridge (pass from LRC Building 2nd floor to IB)

Design formats (either handmade or readymade):

1. Installations
2. Pictures, photos and/or posters in frames
3. Inspirational quotes in frames
4. Green Spaces

Eligibility:

Either individual or group projects (students and/or staff)

Submission:

Proposals should be submitted via email to lrc@wiut.uz or brought to LRC staff room in printed form.
