As of September 2021, Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) entered a contract with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to support the Uzbekistan government post-COVID green recovery. The project ends in June 2022. The project objective is to serve as a national support group to the MoEDPR to design and implement green and inclusive economic development measures. The ultimate goal of the project is to ensure that Uzbekistan is positioned for sustainable green growth, retaining its socio-economic reform momentum.
