My research focuses on various aspects of English language teaching and assessment in higher education contexts. I have published in international and local journals, examining topics such as designing effective assessment strategies, developing student autonomy through technological approaches, and factors influencing EFL teachers' assessment literacy levels. My work also explores the characteristics of effective teaching and the importance of reflective writing in academic English courses. My recent co-authored publication, "Examining the Impact of Teachers' Assessment Competency on Learners in Academia: A Study of Selected HEIs of Uzbekistan," presented at the European Conference on Education, further highlights my expertise in the field of assessment and its influence on student learning outcomes. 2022 - 2024 Enhancing Inclusivity in Uzbekistan: A Jean Monnet Proposal for a Master's-Level EU Inclusivity Module
As part of my involvement in the Jean Monnet programme from 2022 to 2024, I served as a team member tasked with developing a proposal for a new extracurricular module. Working collaboratively, we created a course titled "Introduction to EU Inclusivity" that was designed to be offered to master's students as well as in-service EFL teachers across Uzbekistan. The module aimed to enhance participants' understanding of the European Union's initiatives and best practices around inclusive education, diversity, and accessibility. This was an exciting opportunity for me to contribute to curricular innovation and engage with stakeholders in the Uzbek higher education system.
